Sidekicks for Sight has been raising puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind since 1990. It's our goal to raise and socialize, healthy , happy dogs that go on to be trained as guide dogs. We are located in Douglas County, Colorado, just south of Denver.

Lavish and Nasa returned to Guide Dogs.  Pinot and Lira arrived!!  Cole was career changed.

Cole: Dru Anne's 15th Guide puppy to raise, Cole, was career changed recently for medical reasons with her legs.  Dru Anne will be placing her with some friends.

Pinot & Lira: Carly B. received her 1st Guide puppy to raise, a male black lab named Pinot, while Barb received her 22nd puppy, a female yellow lab named Lira!  Welcome puppies!

Lavish & Nasa: Mitzi T.'s 7th Guide puppy to raise, Lavish, returned to Guide Dogs' Oregon campus on October 17th.  Nasa, raised by Robyn G., returned October 30th.  We wish Lavish and Nasa well in their future, whatever it may be!

December 10: Our club's annual Christmas party was a success!  Good food, cute puppies, and lots of gifts make an evening enjoyable!  The puppies received plenty of Christmas cheer by the restaraunt staff, too.

 

October 20:   Local Have Paws Will Travel club had their annual "Howl-O-Ween" party and costume contest.  It was a blast and quite a  success.  View the pictures Here.  Also, send in pictures of your dog's costume if you were unable to make it due to the weather, but were planning on it.  (Be sure to look for Sidekicks for Sight puppies: Petunia, Cole, and Nasa!)

 

July 10:  Kendra H. received her 3rd Guide dog puppy, Aster!  Aster is a very tiny puppy arriving off the  big puppy truck on a nice, warm day.  Congrats to little Aster and proud raiser, Kendra!

 

April 19: The raiser workshop and puppy truck had a very good attendence and saw club puppies Marjorie and Suzuki off, while new pups Cole and Mia arrive to learn the ropes.  We wish the Marjorie and Suzuki well and welcome Cole and Mia.
